When Your Ligament Needs a Partner

Traditional ligament repair often means long immobilization and uncertain healing. Internal Brace changes that. Your ligament is repaired, then reinforced with a permanent suture tape that shares the load and creates a stronger, more stable repair.

You’ve got questions?

Is the Internal Brace permanent?
No, the Internal Brace isn’t a permanent implant. It’s designed to support your ligament or tendon while it heals. Over time, your own tissue takes over the job of providing strength and stability, and the brace simply helps protect the area during recovery.
How soon after surgery can I move my joint?
In most cases, you’ll be able to start gentle movement much sooner than with traditional surgery — sometimes just a few days after the procedure. Your doctor will give you a personalized recovery plan to make sure you move safely while your ligament heals.
Will I need a hospital stay?
Usually not. The Internal Brace procedure is often done as an outpatient surgery, which means you can go home the same day. Most patients recover comfortably at home and begin their rehabilitation shortly after.
