Dr. Evan Argintar

My visit was fine. Whose responsibility is it to make sure that the Dr’s office has my appointment scheduled in their system. That was the only glitch. I still was seen in a timely manner. I like Zocdoc.

Very nice office. The staff was professional, generally, but would benefit from being more sympathetic to patients waiting for over 45 minutes because someone double-booked the doctor. A simple “I’m sorry” would have done the trick for me, instead it left me infuriated as the girl at the counter asked whether I was in rush. Please, do not ask someone who has patiently waited for 30 minutes and is about to wait for another 20 minutes whether they are in a rush. Never appreciated, especially when it is your mistake! We all have jobs we need to go to.

Doc is very down to earth and personable. I feel he values my input regarding self-health awareness. He clearly answers any questions, explains problem conditions, and treatment procedures. Other staff members are warm and friendly.

It was a very pleasant experience. The doctor was kind and friendly. His first statement to me was that he hoped i didn’t wait to long before i saw him. (They saw me about 13 minutes after my scheduled time). Everything went well and he did an amazing job explaining the issues and how to fix it.

I arrived 30 minutes early, as the office had asked, expecting to fill out lots of paperwork and wait a long time. I only received one document to update and was called to the examination room before I finished. Even there, I hardly waited for the doctor to arrive. Very quick, efficient. And Dr. Argintar was quick in a diagnosis that had eluded two other doctors.

Dr. Argintar was excellent. Quick, thoughtful, patient, clear. The office was frustrating because of the very long wait but he’s an excellent doctor and worth the wait.

The office is awful, receptionist couldn’t tell me how far behind the doc was. Waiting room uncomfortable and cramped.

He was very nice, not rude at all like most doctors. His office staff was very professional and nice, easy to ask questions and get answers. Visit was quick and sweet.

Dr. Argintar was very personable and thoughtfully responded to all of my questions (and I had many!) I never felt rushed through the appointment and felt that he really listened to my concerns. Dr. Argintar thoroughly explained my options to me, and helped me chose the treatment that was right for me. His honesty, compassion, and professionalism during my evaluation and treatment made me certain that I made the right decision in choosing him (and his team) to help heal my sports injury.

Dr. Argintar is an excellent doctor. He is caring and in spite of the fears of surgery, he calms and reassures his patients. The only downside that I found in visiting his 7th Street office on Capitol Hill, is that the ZocDoc system is not recognized there. I checked in on the system at the same time I booked the appointment, but none of my information went to that office so I had to sit there and fill out lots of papers. That was a serious inconvenience.

Dr. Argintar was great. He was able to diagnose me quickly and talk me through what was going on thoroughly. However, I showed up for my 11am appointment at 10:40 but wasn’t taken back into the office until 12:10. I didn’t end up even seeing the doctor until 12:20ish. And the staff was not the friendliest. There was one woman (Tasha I believe) who was very friendly and courteous, but everyone else seemed like they didn’t have time for things. I totally get that things get busy and backed up, but if you’re friendly about it I can deal with things better. A few people made it a bit more difficult. Regardless, I think it might have just been an off day and I would still recommend this doctor.

I was most impressed by Dr Argintar’s understanding and enthusiastic support of my goal of returning to active participation in my sport, though I am an over-50 athlete. Dr Argintar was prompt, direct and took the time to explain my injury and route to recovery. As his patient, I felt respected and informed.

Very nice physician, and honest about the care I needed. He wasn’t quick to recommend surgery as the best solution. I will eventually need it for the avulsed hip joint, but he says that my quality of life is good enough now, that I should hold off on surgical intervention.

Doctor Evan Argintar is a very good doctor. However, even at his office there are always long waits — very typical in the USA. All the doctors in the hospital were almost over 1 hour waits. It seems that the people (formerly MedStar Hospital office) who schedule the appointments and the office staff expect that it is what the public has to do to see a doctor. However, I have lived in over 10 countries long-term and worked in another 25 short-term, and never had to wait so long as is expected in the USA. Americans have no idea how it works in other countries.

I think he is very knowledgeable and is very quick to assess. He spent all of 20 minutes with me and rushed off to his new appointment. I felt a bit rushed. Off to Xray where I waited for the tech, who I think was new. Got 2 Xrays and then waited for Dr. Argintar to share his feedback on my xrays. He’s very knowledgeable and very quick to assess but again. I felt rushed after a 35 minute wait. But I would recommend for his diagnostic acumen and a pleasant bedside manner.

However, time with him feels incredibly rushed–even his speech is lightening fast. There is no opportunity to ask questions, and if you do, the answer is also rushed. It is frustrating.

Not happy about what I was told about the recovery timeline after surgery and the actual reality of the recovery. I was under the impression I would be walking in 2 weeks. Looks like I won’t walking for much longer.

It seems that the people (formerly MedStar Hospital office) who schedule the appointments and the office staff expect that it is what the public has to do to see a doctor. However, I have lived in over 10 countries long-term and worked in another 25 short-term, and never had to wait so long as is expected in the USA. Dr. Argintar was professional and had an impeccable bedside manner. He diagnosed my problem immediately. Unfortunately, the receptionist forgot to send my paperwork to the back so I waited longer then I should have.

Dr, Argintar is very pleasant and respectable. He listens to his patience and provides the best care. He talks to you and not at you.

Presents as a knowledgable, experienced orthopedic surgeon, willing to fully explain the alternative surgical options available in a manner that inspires confidence in his judgment and skills. If I choose to have surgery, I would feel confident enough in Dr Argintor to have him do the procedure.

It was okay but I did not feel a good connection. He was willing to do the shoulder procedure (I had to change from my regular orthopedist because he was no longer in network). And I did not have a good comfort level with him. I cancelled the surgery and I am looking for another doctor.

I was most impressed by Dr Argintar’s understanding and enthusiastic support of my goal of returning to active participation in my sport, though I am an over-50 athlete. Dr Argintar was prompt, direct and took the time to explain my injury and route to recovery. As his patient, I felt respected and informed.

Dr. Argintar was great. He was able to diagnose me quickly and talk me through what was going on thoroughly. However, I showed up for my 11am appointment at 10:40 but wasn’t taken back into the office until 12:10. I didn’t end up even seeing the doctor until 12:20ish. And the staff was not the friendliest. There was one woman (Tasha I believe) who was very friendly and courteous, but everyone else seemed like they didn’t have time for things. I totally get that things get busy and backed up, but if you’re friendly about it I can deal with things better. A few people made it a bit more difficult. Regardless, I think it might have just been an off day and I would still recommend this doctor.

Dr. Argintar is an excellent doctor. He is caring and in spite of the fears of surgery, he calms and reassures his patients. The only downside that I found in visiting his 7th Street office on Capitol Hill, is that the ZocDoc system is not recognized there. I checked in on the system at the same time I booked the appointment, but none of my information went to that office so I had to sit there and fill out lots of papers. That was a serious inconvenience.

If you require competent and knowledgeable orthopedic surgeon, find one elsewhere.

Dr. Argintar was very personable and thoughtfully responded to all of my questions (and I had many!) I never felt rushed through the appointment and felt that he really listened to my concerns. Dr. Argintar thoroughly explained my options to me, and helped me chose the treatment that was right for me. His honesty, compassion, and professionalism during my evaluation and treatment made me certain that I made the right decision in choosing him (and his team) to help heal my sports injury.

He was good doctor but he was late for my appointment (he said he wrongly scheduled someone before me), and didn’t apologize. He didn’t seem as interested or engaged, probably because he was pressed for time and was behind schedule.

I arrived 30 minutes early, as the office had asked, expecting to fill out lots of paperwork and wait a long time. I only received one document to update and was called to the examination room before I finished. Even there, I hardly waited for the doctor to arrive. Very quick, efficient. And Dr. Argintar was quick in a diagnosis that had eluded two other doctors.

Doc is very down to earth and personable. I feel he values my input regarding self-health awareness. He clearly answers any questions, explains problem conditions, and treatment procedures. Other staff members are warm and friendly.

Very nice office. The staff was professional, generally, but would benefit from being more sympathetic to patients waiting for over 45 minutes because someone double-booked the doctor. A simple “I’m sorry” would have done the trick for me, instead it left me infuriated as the girl at the counter asked whether I was in rush. Please, do not ask someone who has patiently waited for 30 minutes and is about to wait for another 20 minutes whether they are in a rush. Never appreciated, especially when it is your mistake! We all have jobs we need to go to.

My visit was fine. Whose responsibility is it to make sure that the Dr’s office has my appointment scheduled in their system. That was the only glitch. I still was seen in a timely manner. I like Zocdoc.

The wait is always substantially longer than the time spent with the Doctor. The front desk staff is very professional. The facility is always clean. The doctor is always positive and provide clear and concise information and instructions. The wait is just too long! Highly recommend but be prepared to wait.

I used to work with Orthopedic Surgeons and so I am familiar with them. He was very professional and nice…..very down to earth. I will see him again and if I need surgery down the road he is the one I will pick to do it.

I had a horrible experience art the Medstar Orthopedic Center in Clinton, MD., was a little apprehensive about this visit. Dr. Argintar made me feel at ease right away. Before meeting with him, all the staff exhibited excellent tone and manner with professionalism. I highly recommend this Doctor, this location, and any other locations with which he may be associated.

Dr. Argintar was familiar with my knee problems from 2014. He immediately assessed the problem and diagnosed someother problems associated with my knee. We agreed upon a plan of treatment and evaluation after the physical therapy is completed.

I was incredibly pleased with the whole visit. It was slightly delayed due to surgery, which the doctor couldn’t exactly leave, but I still managed to get in and out in record time with prompt attention and care. The exam was extremely rushed and very cursory. The doctor seemed to reach a conclusion before I even finished discussing the symptoms. He didn’t even order an X-ray for a potentially broken bone. He offered no suggestions for proving relief in the short term even though I wa s having difficulty walking short distances. For the one test ordered, u was continually sent to the weing location – it took over an hour for hospital personnel to find out where I was supposed to go and the type of test that was to be performed.show less.

He looked through my medical folder to review the past doctor’s diagnosis and recommendations. He provided me recommendations on the medical options available to treat my problem. The diagnosis, medical treatment and other recommendations were very clear and concise. I was very satisfied using ZocDoc to schedule my appointment. I was expecting a 2 week waiting period for Dr. Argintar. To see that he was immediately available on my day off was absolutely great and coordinated well without having to take any leave. The ZocDoc technology features were easy to use and follow. The appt reminders by phone and email were very helpfu.

I had a very bad experience with Dr Arginar. He took very little time to diagnose my problem. Recommended an MRI. Left the office without saying what would happen next. His assistant then came to see me and said they would follow up with my insurance and then get back in touch with me to schedule an MRI. They never got back in touch. When I tried calling his assistant doesn’t answer. I can’t leave a message because his inbox is full. I don’t even know whether they made a referral to the MRI department or not. Also, I had to wait for over an hour for my apointment and general support staff was very poor.

It’s difficult to rate a visit when you’re a new patient. I’m very satisfied with Dr. Argenta. I would refer him to others but the wait time in reception needs a little work.

Dr. Argintar was very helpful. I was relieved that he offers alternatives other than surgery. It would be great if he and his staff (and all service personnel) would be more sensitive about assuming a patient’s gender identity, especially if they do not identify with the gender binary.
